Solomon Yamoah serves as the Chief Development Officer, and People and Country Development Director at 3T, where he leads country expansion, people development, and stakeholder engagement for forest and nature-based carbon projects across Africa. His work focuses on building strong local teams and compliant in-country structures. He ensures projects are grounded in community consent, inclusive governance, and long-term impact.
Solomon brings over 15 years of experience across education, civil society, and sustainable development. He has deep expertise in coalition building, community engagement, and SDG-aligned programme design. Much of his work has been within Ghana’s education and CSO landscape.
Before joining 3T, Solomon held leadership roles within education networks and civil society organisations. He contributed to policy dialogue, programme coordination, and grassroots implementation. His work addressed education equity, youth empowerment, and community resilience.
Solomon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Educational Studies and Educational Psychology, applying a people-centred, interdisciplinary approach to climate and development work.
His work is driven by a commitment to empowering communities and advancing nature-based solutions that deliver lasting benefits for people and ecosystems.
