Luck Kafando

Luck Kafando is the Administrative Lead for 3T Ghana’s Community Native Ecosystem Restoration Project in Agogo, Ashanti Region, where he oversees field office operations, financial management, compliance, procurement, and administrative and human resource functions. He works closely with Dr Haruna and supports effective project delivery by strengthening operational systems, budgeting processes, reporting, and coordination across field teams.

He brings strong experience in development and environmental operations, with expertise in forest restoration, biodiversity monitoring, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement. His work combines administrative leadership with field-based support for forest inventories, carbon-related initiatives, and community-focused programmes.

Before joining 3T, Luck worked as Program Support Staff with the District Forest Services Division, where he supported the implementation of major national initiatives including the World Bank–funded Forest Investment Program, the Modified Taungya System, and the Youth in Afforestation Project. He has also worked with organisations such as Rainforest Alliance and Innovation for Poverty Action (IPA), contributing to climate-smart agriculture initiatives, cocoa landscape restoration efforts, REDD+ safeguards, data collection, auditing, and community engagement projects across multiple regions of Ghana.

Luck holds a Bachelor of Science in Development Planning from the University for Development Studies, Ghana. He has completed professional training in forest carbon credits, nature-based solutions, regulatory compliance, and climate resilience.

His work is driven by a commitment to strengthening operational systems that support sustainable forest restoration and deliver lasting environmental and community benefits.
