Eswar Mani

Eswar Mani, born in Tokyo to Indian parents, is a recognized expert in sustainable finance and economics, with extensive practical experience. His keen interest in sustainability and finance was first ignited by the Kyoto Protocol during his high school years, leading to in-depth studies at the London School of Economics and MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

Throughout his distinguished career, Eswar has assumed critical roles at prestigious institutions. His journey includes demanding positions at Credit Suisse First Boston in Tokyo and later in London. At Masdar, a leading clean energy company funded by Abu Dhabi, he helped managed a substantial $500+ million clean technology fund from 2008. Eswar also played a pivotal role at SunEdison, raising financing for solar and wind projects across Asia, and divesting their Japan business.

As a founding partner at 3T, Eswar provides high-level guidance to the founders, contributes to the formation of the company’s financial strategies, and designs detailed financial models. Furthermore, he offers invaluable advice on fundraising. Eswar’s insights are crucial in guiding 3T towards sustainability and growth
