James Eaton

Jamie’s career is dedicated to developing and executing ecosystem services projects, primarily in forest conservation. He boasts extensive experience in tropical forest ecology, geographic information systems, and soil biogeochemistry. Jamie has led 16+ forest carbon projects from inception to validation, verification, and registration, showing his proficiency as a VCS technical expert and forest carbon professional for over two decades. His conservation efforts have secured over 500,000 hectares of land worldwide. In 2017, Jamie launched his first company, Ostrya Conservation Inc., where he led its rapid growth.

With an MS in Environmental Science, Jamie’s work in conservation project development and research spans the globe, with projects in locations such as Brazil, China, Ireland, Malaysia, and the United States.

As a Founding Partner of 3T, James brings immense value to the table not only as a shareholder and advisor, but also through the technical partnership established between 3T and his company, Climate Investment Partners. This collaboration ensures the success of project efforts in Ghana, delivered in the highest quality possible.
